DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY - A sensor is used to take the radiographic picture. This allows the image to be placed instantaneously in the patient’s record as well as the computer monitor in the treatment room. The amount of radiation is about half the amount used in standard radiographic films and there are no harmful chemicals. In addition the image is large enough to allow Dr. Berger to show you exactly what is going on in your particular case.

TELESCOPES - Magnification in dentistry is now the standard for quality care. Dr. Berger uses Through-The-Lens telescopes combined with the Zeon Illuminator allowing him unmatched depth-of-field and resolution. Maximum visual performance is now possible with these superior optics.

INTRAORAL CAMERA - The intraoral camera allow you to see exactly what is going on in your mouth. The image is displayed on a monitor allowing you to see what the doctor and hygienist see. The mystery is gone!

COMPUTERS - A computer is located in each operatory. There are educational materials used to explain the course of treatment, as well as slide presentations showing various procedures done in the office. These computers also tie in to the appointment book allowing your appointment to be made more conveniently from the operatory.

RADIOSURGERY - This unit allows the manipulation and bleeding control of gum tissue with the use of radiowaves. It is quick and effective.

HIGH SPEED BONDING LIGHT - This new bonding light cuts down the time it takes to bond tooth colored fillings by almost 90%. Your appointments are a little quicker and no one seems to mind that!

DIAGNODENT - is a laser fluorescence detection system for tooth caries (decay). Visual inspection and probing in seemingly intact chewing surfaces is only 75% correct when diagnosing tooth decay. The Diagnodent by comparison is 90% correct. In addition because the Diagnodent is capable of detecting early carious lesions it allows the dentist to restore the infected teeth with minimally invasive treatment. The Diagnodent is safe, has no x-ray exposure and is painless.
